Our Story

Mawzoon began with a genuine desire to rethink oud making: how can we create an instrument that brings together studied sound, refined appearance, playing comfort, and clear value?
 
For more than two years, we explored different dimensions, materials, and sound designs to develop a clearer vision of what a professional oud should be. As musicians and teachers, we saw that the oud market lacked consistent standards, and that many players and students struggled to choose the right instrument because of the lack of clarity between maker and customer.
 
That is where the name Mawzoon came from: a balance between sound, appearance, price, comfort, and quality.
 
Our first release, the Golden Class Oud, is the result of this journey. It is a professional oud, thoughtfully designed, crafted by skilled hands, and carefully inspected before it reaches the customer. Every detail, from the choice of wood to the neck design and sound testing, was created to serve the player and offer a more comfortable, confident experience.
 
At Mawzoon, we do not leave the customer to discover the quality of the instrument after purchase. We review it, test it, and make sure it leaves our workshop according to clear standards before it reaches their hands.
